Bill Blackbeard was one thing of a superhero. During his lifetime, he collected and preserved 2.5 million ephemeral artifacts of caricature artwork, together with newspapers and Sunday shade sections courting way back to 1893. Treasures from his assortment at the moment are featured in a brand new exhibit, “Man Saves Comics,” on the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum at Ohio State University.
