Harry Styles is caught in a love triangle in ‘My Policeman’ trailer


Styles performs a closeted police officer in 1957 England, who marries Marion, performed by Emma Corrin. But he is secretly having an affair with an arts curator named Patrick, performed by David Dawson.

The movie goes from the Nineteen Fifties to the Nineties, with an outdated and ailing Patrick now performed by Rupert Everett.

Director Michael Grandage instructed Vanity Fair that Styles’ character is “confused,” and given the legal guidelines and social politics of the time felt unable to return out.

“It’s made extra problematic by the truth that he is a policeman, and he is in a profession that’s about upholding the regulation. And the regulation within the nation on the time is about every thing he feels — the complexity of it’s one thing that whoever was going to play youthful Tom and older Tom wanted to in some way perceive and soak up,” he stated.

“My Policeman” premieres in theaters Oct. 21 and will probably be launched on Amazon Prime Video on Nov. 4.
