‘Luckiest Lady Alive’ trailer starring Mila Kunis drops
Kunis, who performs the lead character from the bestselling guide of the identical identify, says, “Ahhh-nee” — not “Annie,” when announcing her identify within the trailer.
Kunis performs a former teenager named TifAni, who all the time felt misplaced in her outdated cash prep college. She transforms herself into Ani, “the last word New York City insider with a stunning, rich fiancé (Finn Wittrock), a horny journal job, designer garments and the type of shiny hair that makes different girls swivel on the road,” based on an outline of the movie from Netlix. “But, is Ani’s self-proclaimed ‘excellent life’ actually sufficient to numb essentially the most painful elements of her previous?”
After she’s requested to take part in a documentary a few violent incident on the prestigious Brentley School that remodeled her teenage years, her secret comes out.
The film is directed by Mike Barker.
Also starring are Connie Britton as Ani’s mom, “Succession” actor Justine Lupe as her best-friend, Nell; Jennifer Beals as her editor and mentor; and Scoot McNairy as a highschool English trainer from Ani’s previous.
The adaptation of Jessica Knoll’s bestselling novel might be launched on Oct. 7.
