
Pebbles, world’s oldest residing canine, useless at age 22
The world’s oldest canine, a Toy Fox Terrier named Pebbles, died Monday at her dwelling in Taylors, South Carolina, surrounded by her household. Just 5 months away from her twenty third birthday, Pebbles died of pure causes.
“She spent her days having fun with nation music and being liked,” Pebbles’ household stated in a statement Tuesday. “Pebbles was not simply one other canine, she had her personal method about her and her personal character.”
Pebbles set the Guinness World Record for oldest residing canine on May 17, when she was 22 years and 50 days outdated.
The four-pound pup was born on March 28, 2000, in Long Island, New York, her household stated.
Pebbles moved to South Carolina in 2007 together with her household. Over the course of her life, Pebbles had a complete of 32 puppies in three totally different litters together with her late pup-partner, a Toy Fox Terrier named Rocky, in accordance with her household. Rocky died in 2017 on the age of 16.
