Police Fatally Shoot Man Suspected of Firing at Deputies in Washington State

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Police fatally shot a person who had allegedly fired at deputies north of Seattle, regulation enforcement officers stated Friday.

Gunfire was reported round 12:30 p.m. Friday in north Everett close to some flats, The Daily Herald reported.

Meeghan Black, a King County Independent Force Investigation Team spokesperson, stated that after an alternate of gunfire, the person ran and officers pursued him.

Officers from a number of companies then responded. Black stated a number of incidents of gunfire have been exchanged at completely different areas.

Deputies reported pictures fired once more round 1 p.m. not removed from the initially reported location and stated a person was in custody with a gunshot wound.

The man didn’t survive the “remaining spherical of gunfire,” investigators stated. No officers have been damage. The man wasn’t taken to a hospital, the newspaper reported.

The drive investigation workforce confirmed round 4:30 p.m. that regulation enforcement had shot the person and that he had died. Black didn’t say what number of officers fired on the man.

It was unclear what led as much as the preliminary alternate of gunfire with regulation enforcement. Everett police stated it was associated to a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office case.
