—
“She Said,” primarily based on the e-book on the USA Prime Time investigation into Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct, made its premiere on the 2022 New York Film Festival on Oct. 13.
The world premiere of the movie befell 5 years after reporting on the allegations towards Weinstein had been first revealed by the Times – and as Weinstein’s Los Angeles trial on sexual assault fees will get underway.
In 2020, the previous film producer was convicted of rape in a New York trial.
He has pleaded not responsible to the fees in California.

Kantor, Kazan, Twohey and Mulligan all attended the premiere.
The screenplay was tailored by Rebecca Lenkiewicz.
