‘Stranger Things’ writers tease final season

The writers behind the Netflix drama posted a photograph of a dry-erase whiteboard with the caption, “Grid Stage.” On it had been bins with eight columns titled for every episode, suggesting there will likely be eight episodes in all for the final season.

One fan was clearly disillusioned, tweeting again, “ONLY EIGHT EPISODES???”

Season 4 featured 9 episodes, together with a prolonged finale.
“Stranger Things” co-showrunner Matt Duffer not too long ago informed The Hollywood Reporter that the ultimate season will likely be pared down.

“I do not suppose the runtimes will likely be as excessive in Season 5,” he mentioned. “We’re attempting to return to the simplicity of the construction in Season 1, with greater scale and scope.”

The sequence received awards for excellent music supervision, excellent prosthetic make-up, sound enhancing, sound mixing and stunt coordination on the Creative Arts Emmys over the weekend. It is nominated for excellent drama sequence on the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 12.

There is not any official launch date for the ultimate season.
