In 1967 “Chickie” Donohue, a service provider seaman, was impressed to ship beers to buddies who had been combating in an unpopular struggle. And so, he packed up some suds and sailed for Vietnam to trace them down. That quixotic journey impressed the brand new dramedy “The Greatest Beer Run Ever,” directed by Peter Farrelly, an Academy Award-winner for “Green Book.” CBS News nationwide safety correspondent David Martin talks with Farrelly, star Zac Efron, and with Donohue, who describes how his expertise modified his view of the struggle.
